Awful crossing puts all users at risk due to design that prioritises traffic flow over all other considerations. Tram line hazards, button press demand cancelling device is anti pedestrian and anti cyclist. Crossing should be re routed from the current u bend to a straight linear crossing. Traffic not kept far back enough. At busy periods crossing is blocked by vehicles with no consideration for other users. Not enough space, too many poles, fences, tight turns: clear the space to give decent width (3metres) to users. Remove demand cancelling devices.
